Geneva Hutchinson works as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar for the Institute for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame. Geneva’s research examines the complexities of trauma in religious and familial spaces and she creates artwork as a form of healing, resistance, and storytelling. Geneva uses her training and experience as an interdisciplinary artist and educator to empower others to share their own stories through public art projects, community workshops, and exhibitions.

Geneva holds a B.A. in Communications and B.F.A. in Printmaking from Clemson University and an M.F.A. in Studio Art from The University of Notre Dame.
